So the bus from Turku to Helsinki (capital of finland)had seat numbers and that was the first time we encountered that in europe..Also, toilets had water jets in Finland along with paper unlike Norway, sweden or denmark :) Anyway, post getting off the bus our friend/host was there to pick us up and after more than 30days of sleeping in the wild we were gonna get a room and a bed for the last few nights in europe..never were these basics appreciated so much  :).. After a nice europen pasta for lunch, some desert n great coffee a few more of their friends n kids joined us to go out Kayaking into the sea.. The plan was set to kayak some 10 km one way to an island for some barbeque and traditional finis Sauna...After picking up the kayaks and the rest of the equipment from this kayak club to the jetti..then a small brefing on how to kayak, rescue technique incase of capcising and then off we were paddling for more than an hour to reach this beaitiful island... after a session of piknik barb

Two to Turku : Finland

So the boat from stockholm to Turku wasnt really a boat, but a big ass cruise..It had all the indulgence items that bores old people like us :)...what went wrong here was that we lost our cabin seats due to some date change madness, however the seated accomodation was nothing to complain about..I even got the sleeping bag out for Meenu and tucked her nice n easy for a few hours of good night sleep..what went right was that we had a few amerikan dollars sitting in our pocket which could be xchanged for sum euros to buy us some tempting food on the cruise...Not that we were not prepared, in fact we had our share of krackers ,cheese etc,but could not resist the yummy food being served :) AFter a pretty interesting experience in the cruise for me, as it was my first. The cruise docked at Turku harbour early mornin with a full cloud cover and strong winds making us super cold :)This we like, dont like it when its hot :)Next was figuring out a paid campin place to park atleast for a night,

Stopover @ stockholm Sweden ...

So the overnight flexibus from Oslo to stockholm was very comfy, super smooth except for no pee stops on the way and the stop over at Gottenburg (quite a rough city center at night)..we knw this place a lil too better with our maiden two days of stealth camping done here before on this trip.. Anyway, we found the cheapest bet at Mcdonalds to take a piss, thnx to Ganpati a Hyderabadi working there :) Early morning the Stockholm central staton was super busy, but luckily we were flowin in the oposite direction to the rats :).We got the cash machine, and a few veggies for cooking later that day and headed straight to Angbyplan(metro station) at ANgby campsite and the first thing that striked us about the city was the number of eye contacts, aknowledgement and helloz from people as compared Norway or Denmark... Post accessing the campsite which was way too different in many ways as conpared to ekeberg in Oslo. Here therz a bunch of tents, the usual caravans and trailers, however, therz also t

So leaving the comforts of a paid camping site was a lil difficult, you kiNDA get used to the basik comforts like a toilet, sink n an elektrik burner :)...Anyway, since we knew we were moving to yet another  enchanting part of Oslo we packed all gear and headed to the woods...The super sorted publik transport of nofway/oslo,speciALLy the T-ban(underground)is a LIL complicated to understand and lil wiered...for instance, the doors aint automatik, you gotta press a button to open em,but then this makes so much sense for a place where winters are long and bitter :)..another thing, the paper eticket stayed intact with us as the validator on the bus was nt working and the metro gates were wide open :)..all n all this place is super relaxed with transport ticket system and all other systems..super honest and nice folks here ,imagine something like this in India :) :) It took close to a couple of hours from camp break (ekeberg camping)to set up here at this new beautiful n free location (lutv

so we quickly figured that there wasn't much to the city of Oslo (for us)besides the regular old and new buildings, the big brand stores, the usual cathedrals and the city square.. But yes, therz more to the city and thats the marka (woods) sorrounding it :), so we've decided to do just that i.e. get into the woods for a few days...After talkin to a few local dudes, we have shortlisted a super beautiful place/lake called lutvaan to set up base and then do as many day hikes as we like from there...So prep for this began yesterday after chilling and layin low a few days at this beautiful PAID ekeberg camping site. We visited the city center just like the regualr tourists yesterday,However, the purpose was dual, ofcourse to see/walk the city AND visit DMT (not the drug..lol)office for more info on Marka i.e. Lutvaan and how to stay safe i.e. plant n animal hazards, drinking water source, trail marking system, emergency ctc no,maps. etc etc :)...dmt stands for norwegian trekking asso

!Yeah, the next day at Halden was pretty action packed at the town center..there was the tons of rock concert happening at the fotress, so we went there to take a peek, got a good view of the town from there..then there was the boat and food festival happening at the harbour, so enjoyed some live musik there.there was some truckers bash happening round the corner and a plenty more other gigs .... Anyway, we also managed to get a free warm shower at the grand hotel after requesting the manager :),this was long pending... Another pretty interesting thing happend this morning, at our camp came in a big guy and asked us to vacate the campin spot to go find a place somewhere else, not that he was rude or hostile in doin so,but just looked a lil determined :) he gave us another local add a few kilometers away to pitch our tent and said that place would be appropriate since this/current space was  private belonging to a trust, which ran the nearby museum and the five stone grave right nex

Thru Sweden to Norway..

So the bus from Copenhagen Denmark to Gothernbug was on time :)only with a short stop at the border to check passports.. This journey was however broken into a stopover at Malmo for 5 hours...Malmo is one of the bigger(third biggest) cities in Sweden and lil interesting with a high immigrant population and with a few hours to kill, was a good idea to explore.. So the first thing at the break was to find a place to stash our heavy backpacks somewhere so that we could walk easy...the first option we found was the grand central malmo rail station, upon enquiry the price stated to do that was close to our half a day's budget :),so ofcourse we ran away from there...then i thought we could google an indian resturant and try our luck there..so then the second option came up to be a resturant called green chillies :), close to 2km walk there the waiter (from syria) said the place was closed ,however, once he found out our intent,he took our request to the head chef,we said we could talk
