Stopover @ stockholm Sweden ...

So the overnight flexibus from Oslo to stockholm was very comfy, super smooth except for no pee stops on the way and the stop over at Gottenburg (quite a rough city center at night)..we knw this place a lil too better with our maiden two days of stealth camping done here before on this trip..

Anyway, we found the cheapest bet at Mcdonalds to take a piss, thnx to Ganpati a Hyderabadi working there :)

Early morning the Stockholm central staton was super busy, but luckily we were flowin in the oposite direction to the rats :).We got the cash machine, and a few veggies for cooking later that day and headed straight to Angbyplan(metro station) at ANgby campsite and the first thing that striked us about the city was the number of eye contacts, aknowledgement and helloz from people as compared Norway or Denmark...

Post accessing the campsite which was way too different in many ways as conpared to ekeberg in Oslo. Here therz a bunch of tents, the usual caravans and trailers, however, therz also these bunch of people staying on rent in moving homes n a bunch of english gypsies workin as staff at the camp..a very interesting bunch.. :)..

After setting up camp, and sharing the kitchen and chatter with a few polish workers, we crashed just that bit early, post a rude shock that the polish guys were paying 5000 kroners each per week for a dorm bed, they were like five of them in a very very small room..like the Bihari boys in Bombay kinda situation...

The nxt day upon wakin up i saw an hyperlite tent planted nxt to us(from z packs), obviously i wanted to knw more abt this piece of equipment..So as usual i went and introduced myself (here in the west, people generally dnt talk to people i guess,so you always kinda suprise people when you approach them, but when they figure u askin for info or help, they do that xtra bit to help you out: meenu n me take tend to take full advantage of this funny situation) and then bombarded them with a zillion questions, which were all answered very patiently by this couple...This was a 80 85 yr old couple from Newzealand, they are walkers and has walked some 75km  on an island in finland and were headed to greenland for another 200km walk or so :)So this was not only a tresure for me to learn abt backpacking but also super inspiring for both of us :)..

Me n minu decided we gonna walk to the city center n back from our camping site, which is like 10km one way and save this transport monies for some pizza in the evening( cheap supermakt pizza)..so we did  exactly that :)! and was it worth the walk to the old city of Stockholm?OFCOURSE YES, this city is super duper stunning, its quite a plesant change after ugly Oslo..it kinda resembles Copenhagen a bit, but its big and different in many ways :)

Post this walking excursion, we had to leave the paid campin due to budget pressure and move some place free :), we were lucky to find a huge national park just to do this, with lakes, woods, farm lands, old traditional village and much more...so i called the reserve guys and double checked everything just to make sure, cauz we were to spend some money on the local transport getting there...

Now began a serious challange, we were left with some funds on our intercity travel card and could do this trip only in 75min with a few buses and a train to change...man what a race it was aganist time n thnx to the Iranian girl at the metro station and a local girl in one of the buses, we just made it in time to reach the park in one single ticket...phew!!

challange number 2- we are left with only 150 kroners for nxt three days before we exit out of here..So we mak this diffucult choice of not visiting the atm...

This meant we had to break camp here at ANGby camping, pack our stuff and then walk close to 6km to find coop(cheap supermarket) before we went into the woods...so we did that too, this time post a session with the new zealand couple, we packed some cheap, but light n healty food with us...:) i.e. blue cheese tube, krackers, museli, milk, fruit n pasta..

Tyresta national reserve...12km from stockholm city center...man, what a place :) :)...total shanti! the next few days here in the park were spent relaxing, cooking, day hikin a few lakes ,collecting berries and spotting loads of wild life...For campin we had few options to choose from, and the one we chose was around the perimeter of the forest with stunning veiws of the village at the far end and beautiful animals grazing all around us :), in the three days we spent here at the park, not even a single soul passed us ...total isolation :), so peaceful :)....

nxt is the ferry to Finland ..

p.s...keep ur packs as light as possible...we are travelling way too heavy :(
